Production Shift Handoff

- Meet the incoming supervisor at the production line.
- Replaced in the proposal Review the shift notes: what ran, what is in progress and what is waiting.
- Walk the line together and point out open work orders.
- Share any equipment issues that were reported during the shift.
- Replaced in the proposal Confirm which products are on hold and where they are stored.
- Record the handoff on the shift sheet and have both supervisors confirm it.
- Tell the team the handoff is complete.

What is proposed
Ask for the shift notes to include work waiting for the next shift, and record products on hold on the shift sheet.
